These affected water droplets are generally produced by both hot and cold water systems, which include sink faucets, hot water tanks and air conditioning systems. This includes hot water storage cylinders storing water at 60°C or above, cold water being stored and distributed in environments below 20°C and hot water being stored and distributed in environments of 50°C or above.
