About the role
Primary Water Solutions are experts in water hygiene risk management, including assessments, consultancy, and control. We work for a variety of public and private sector clients covering all aspects of Water Treatment, hygiene, and monitoring.
As Legionella Risk Assessor you will be carrying out Legionella Risk assessments in line with ACOP L8, providing recommendations to clients, producing reports and documents. You will be conducting Risk Assessments at a broad range of client sites around your region and further afield dependent on business needs.
The role will be responsible for conducting the following technical tasks, this list is not limited, the Legionella Risk Assessor may conduct additional tasks for which they are trained and competent. Their line manager may occasionally request they work in any other role which is reasonably within their capabilities.

Key responsibilities
- Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 of any complexity of building outside the NHS.
- Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents for clients.
- Providing recommendations for remedial works and routine control measures based on the risk assessments.
- Monthly temperature testing, monitoring and water sampling.
- Surveying of water systems and supplies.
- Attending meetings with clients as and when required.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
- Produce accurate reports and drawings within the time frame given.
- Following company procedure regarding health, safety and compliance
- Support trainee legionella risk assessors when required
- Undertake logbook audits
